If you’re an undergrad considering a career as an investment professional, the Point72 Academy Summer Internship should be high on your list. Our 8-week summer internship runs from June through August 2024 in our New York, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore offices.
The Point72 Academy is an investment analyst training program that will equip you to define your career path in an ever-changing industry, and the 8-week summer internship can be the first step in that journey.
To learn more about the summer internship experience, hear from four previous interns on a special episode of our podcast, Becoming A Hedge Fund Analyst: Inside Point72 Academy. We followed their journey from their first day, through the classroom, team rotations, and final pitches as they learned about our industry and what it takes to be an analyst at Point72.
As an Academy intern, you’ll learn the fundamentals of finance, research, and market behavior while gaining insight into specific sectors and getting access to Point72 investment professionals. You will learn what it’s like to be a research analyst through classroom instruction led by renowned professors and former investment professionals, portfolio casework that will support a real investment team, and time with a dedicated analyst mentor.
The learning doesn’t stop after you have earned placement on an investment team. With ongoing development through speaker series and 1:1 coaching, you will constantly be improving your craft while at Point72.
