Steve Cohen founded this firm as a portfolio manager and ran a book for more than 40 years. We have former portfolio managers throughout our leadership team, which leads to thoughtful capital allocation and a unique ability to mentor and develop our people.
Our proprietary research team—Market Intelligence—conducts deep fundamental research and combines it with machine learning techniques, macro and sell-side research, and quantitative methodologies to give our investment teams new insights and products to generate potential alpha-producing ideas.
Our global economist team helps our investment professionals better assess market opportunities and investment decisions through regular forecasting and analysis across the latest macro, economic, and monetary policy trends.
