Point72 Sponsors Inaugural Nanyang Capital Stock Pitch Challenge

We are proud to have sponsored the inaugural stock pitch challenge hosted by Nanyang Capital—the first student-run equity research club at Nanyang Technological University.

Over the past couple months, undergraduate students from universities across Singapore participated in the 2023 Point72 x Nanyang Capital Stock Pitch Challenge.

For this year’s challenge, we asked students to pitch a long or short recommendation on selected public equities and prepare a deck and financial model to support their case. Participants formed teams to compete for one of the top six finalist spots and the opportunity to present their recommendations to a panel of Point72 investment professionals.

Four of our colleagues in Singapore volunteered to act as judges and were impressed by the tremendous effort from all the participants.
