Point72’s Singapore Office Volunteers at The Food Bank Singapore

Members of the Singapore office came together for their first in-person volunteer event in two years, to help sort, take inventory, and pack food donations at the Food Bank Singapore warehouse.

The Food Bank Singapore receives daily food donations and depends on support from volunteers to pack and re-distribute the food to organizations such as senior homes, family service centers, and soup kitchens.

During the event, our volunteers developed a deeper understanding of food security and learned that reducing food waste is imperative in Singapore, where unscrupulously large amounts of food are thrown away.
