Our Values
Our Mission and Values set the standards we expect of each other and guide the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts of our firm.
Our mission is to be the industry’s premier asset management firm through delivering superior risk-adjusted returns, adhering to the highest ethical standards and offering the greatest opportunities to the industry’s brightest talent.
We are professionals who conduct ourselves ethically and with integrity at all times.
We operate as one firm, dedicated to succeeding together, with mutual respect and commitment.
We are not satisfied with the status quo and are committed to pursuing innovation and excellence.
We work together to advance our professional and personal development.
We are exemplary citizens of the world and contribute to the communities in which we live and work.
Our governance process demands the highest ethical behavior and seeks to support the conditions necessary to produce superior risk-adjusted returns as stewards of our investors’ capital.
The Point72 Compliance function is dedicated to furthering efforts to ensure the firm, and all our employees and processes, meet relevant regulations and our professional standards. Functional experts support and monitor specific business units, investing strategies, regions, and vendor relationships. Compliance officers are embedded in business processes, including investing, training, and hiring.
Our Risk Management team works to help ensure that the risks we take in search of returns are intentional. Through statistical, factor, and scenario analysis, the group develops policies and limits, allocates capital, and has real-time oversight of risk in individual portfolios and the firm as a whole.
Investment Leadership supervises our discretionary investment teams and is accountable for portfolio manager engagement, recruiting and developing talent, and providing best-in-class operations support. Compliance and risk officers are also matched with specific sectors and regions to foster ongoing collaboration, strong working relationships, and shared success.

Chief Inclusion and Community Officer
We share a responsibility to give back to our communities and causes we believe in. For more than a decade, our Community Matters team has been empowering our people to volunteer, matching donations to great causes, and providing new opportunities to do good.
Through Community Matters, our employees have donated over 12,000 hours of their time to qualified organizations while building stronger relationships with their colleagues.
We have assisted our people in earning more than 100 board seats at non-profit organizations, supporting their philanthropic passions and helping them make an impact on the world.
Through a series of talks with dozens of non-profits and philanthropy experts, we help our employees expand their understanding of charitable giving and volunteer opportunities.
We often work with the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation and coordinate with strategic partners like the Amazin’ Mets Foundation and other local nonprofits to enable philanthropic and charitable giving opportunities for our employees and their families.
Our ESG efforts are designed to improve our company, our people, the environment, and our communities. Each year, we review our progress toward our ESG goals and publish an impact report to our stakeholders.
We continuously work to maximize efficiency in our use of resources and minimize our impact on ecological systems.
Greenhouse gas emissions and the warming effect they cause have become one of the most pressing global sustainability issues. We perform an internal carbon emissions analysis to monitor the effectiveness of our environmental initiatives and to identify potential improvements.
Since 2018, we have purchased renewable energy certificates (RECs) to neutralize 100% of the electricity used at our Stamford campus. These RECs help reduce emissions and provide production subsidies to incentivize renewable energy projects.
In 2016, we launched an initiative to aid in the reduction of the firm’s environmental footprint and to engage employees in our ongoing efforts to increase in-office recycling, reduce use of disposable plastic across our global offices, and decrease landfill waste.
Working here, you’ll find a flat, entrepreneurial structure and colleagues as dedicated to innovation and excellence as you are. Our culture of mentorship and development can help you build a long-term career and make an impact on our business.
