Ilya Gaysinskiy

Ilya Gaysinskiy is the Chief Technology Officer at Point72, where he is responsible for our firm’s global technology platform, providing firmwide information security services, and supporting all firm businesses and functions.

Mr. Gaysinskiy joined Point72 from Goldman Sachs, where he was a partner and Head of Core Engineering, responsible for managing one of the largest technology groups within the company. In his time at Goldman, he worked across a variety of business units and functions, including derivatives middle office, consumer and wealth management, and core platforms. He also helped drive the firm’s infrastructure, AI, API, and data strategies. After being named as a technology fellow in 2013, Mr. Gaysinskiy went on to run the Technology Fellow program in 2018.

Mr. Gaysinskiy spent the first decade of his career in a variety of engineering roles in healthcare and financial services and launched his own software business. He earned a BS in computer science from Columbia University.
