Mike Fisher

Mike Fisher is the Chief Risk Officer at Point72, where he supports and advances the firm’s commitment to risk management.

Mr. Fisher joined the firm from Citadel, where he was Head of Risk for Global Fixed Income and Macro. Before that, he spent more than 17 years at Goldman Sachs, where he led a variety of desk strategist teams in the Securities Division, including Foreign Exchange, Emerging Markets, and Capital Optimization, and served as Chief Operating Officer of Global Desk Strategists. Mr. Fisher started his career as a strategist in the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs, building pricing models for exotic interest rate derivatives.

Mr. Fisher received his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from the California Institute of Technology and a PhD in mathematics from the Courant Institute at New York University.
