Sören Radde
Head of European Economic Research

Sören Radde is the Head of European Economic Research at Point72 based in London. In his role, he is responsible for the analysis and forecasting of the Euro area and UK economies, including monetary and fiscal policies.
Prior to joining Point72 in 2022, Sören was a Senior European Economist at Goldman Sachs where he covered the European Central Bank (ECB) and the German economy. Before that, he spent over five years at the ECB, where he was an economist in the Monetary Policy Strategy Division. In that role, he briefed the ECB’s Governing Council on monetary policy options, contributed to speeches of executive board members, and conducted research on new instruments, such as quantitative easing. Earlier in his career, Sören held roles at the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin, the IMF in Washington, and the European Commission in Brussels.
Sören holds a PhD in economics from the Technical University of Berlin, an MPhil in economics from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in philosophy and economics from the University of Bayreuth. His research has been published in leading academic journals.
