We recently welcomed members of our Investment Services (IS) team to Singapore for the 2023 Asia IS Leadership Offsite. Our Investment Services employees serve as strategic partners to our investment professionals and help build innovative, best-in-class products and support our investing businesses. The event, hosted by International COO Rafa Lopez-Espinosa and Head of Singapore Rob Edmiston, featured a full day of panels and breakout sessions with internal and external speakers.
Senior members of IS – including Chief Operating Officer Gavin O’Connor; General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer Vinny Tortorella; and Chief Administrative Officer Krista Murphy – joined the offsite alongside senior managers from the New York, Stamford, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney offices.
Discussions centered on fostering partnerships and a culture of collaboration across offices and functions who support Asia, and growth and priorities to build on the firm’s 18-year history in the region.
On the evening that preceded the offsite, the Singapore office hosted drinks to welcome out-of-town visitors and celebrate the office reaching 100 employees in 2023. The following evening, after the offsite day session concluded, attendees participated in a mixology class and enjoyed a group dinner.
